Rocco began to dedicate himself to music while attending middle school in the suburbs of NewJersey. In highschool he attracted a Tiktok following from sharing his humorous experiences asan Asian American youth. Through this time, he continued to refine his sound and found that thecombination of his talent in social media and music would lead him to draw swaths of followersto his records. Taking inspiration from Rex Orange County, Boy Pablo and Clairo, Rocco captures the teenage adolescent experience through his melancholic yet upbeat tunes.
